This filly is from the first crop of the Kentucky-based McCraken, who was an unbeaten grade 2 winner and TDN Rising Star at 2, the early favorite for the Kentucky Derby and a multiple graded winner at 3, and a graded caliber performer at 4 as well. He retired with six wins in 14 starts having earned $869,728, and covered 104 mares in his first book at Airdrie Stud in Kentucky for a $10,000 stud fee.
McCraken is the most precocious runner by Horse of the Year and leading sire Ghostzapper ($85,000 stud fee in 2021), out of the homebred Janis Whitman mare Ivory Empress, by Seeking the Gold, who is also the dam of 2020 multiple graded winner Four Graces, plus a pair of graded stakes-placed winners.
